Another rainy day is forecast. Got up early to see some of the Karamea top sights.

What a beautiful day in the Opararas, have been there several times but today was special!    

Have been dreaming for a long time to do the Heaphy track, but never were fit enough (still aren’t, but didn’t want to wait any…

A rainy day on the West Coast :)

Short trip to spend a few days in isolated Karamea region.

Last walk for this road trip: Cape Foulwind Cliff top walk. The thundering waves are just amazing, the air full of kawakawa and sea spray.

Not returning in a straight line but going North, embracing the wild and lush Westcoast feeling.

Getting comfy in and around Hokitika.

Our learner driver is doing very well, gathering experience on the glacier highway.
