US 98 from Panama City to Ocala

Gulf Coast comes to an end as we move past the Panhandle and down into the pan. A few more days in Florida and then our next flight will be on t he 8th of December from Orlando. Can’t wait!

A typical autumn morning, foggy to the bone.
But most shops and hotels did a fabulous job to jump from the Halloween theme directly to fake snow and glittery plastic balls.
Also lined up like Christmas ornaments: These traffic lights.
The Waffle House, home of waffles galore.
Dinner at the Longhorn, grill and bar.
The dining room is split in different areas, sports bar, hunter’s corner and rustic dining. Very atmospheric!
Drinks have arrived.
Mural on the way along the coast.
We keep following the highway to the east.
Jaws shop.
Lunch stop.
Sushi dinner family plate!
Inside the restaurant, eventful dining. Hope this doesn’t look like we enjoy food too much. Well, darn it, we do!
