A Weekend in Auckland: Day 1

A trip to Auckland in a visa matter – taking advance of the adjoining weekend and making it a valid family holiday :)

From school pick up straight to the airport, then a short wait until the flight boards.
Good girls wearing handmade masks.
90 min later: Arrival in Auckland, pick up of cool rental car directly at the domestic terminal.
Night is coming quickly.
A short ride later we arrive downtown Auckland, a fascinating place for anybody who hasn’t travelled in a while… for everybody.
Looking for our hotel.
Unfortunately it turned out to be not existent and we’re off to another one…
… which is a very good thing! 24th floor with views!
