Europe 2018: Père Lachaise

Visiting the biggest cemetary in Paris, it’s almost more a garden than a burial ground. Many famous names can be read, some of them so old that whole trees have grown through cracks of weathered stone. Most famous and least beautiful is the grave of Jim Morrison.

Metro station Gambetta.
In the first waggon, just the driver in the front and unobstructed view through the tunnel.
Fresh baguette! What else do we need in the Morning…
Maybe a funny looking charcoal bun for lunch?
The pink monster macaroon at the train station where we picked up our rental car later. Last glimpse of Paris. Bye-bye, see you later!
