This is our third move in only six months (not counting the holiday destinations). After we initially arrived in Brooklyn Motueka last October, we’ve got the opportunity to rent a house just a hundred meters down the road from our piece of land from early January. But this time it’s even better: The neighbor’s house, just next door to our section! It’s owned by a lovely family from England who enjoy the endless summer season and spend half a year on either side of the world. Hopefully we can finish our own house before they return in November!
The house is located at the hill top and has amazing views to the sea and a huge forest-like garden to explore. The good: It took us only 26 drives to move all our boxes and furniture around the corner. The bad: Our newly bought massive mattress didn’t fit into the car, so we had to improvise a little bit. :)
