Garston, Athol, Five Rivers, Lumsden, Dipton, Winton, Invercargil. Some of the townships are just names on blue boards that fly by the highway, others feature a takeaway, toilet and farms. But mostly, there’s green grassland and sheep, just like it’s supposed to be for us demanding Austrian powertourists.
