These delicate looking birds must be exhausted! From Alaska they come and, more each day, arrive at the Motueka estuary and Sandspit for feeding and breeding. The Godwit’s Festival is a hearty welcome to this creatures and a good excuse to lay in the spring sun while the kids play, have fun doing handicrafts or get to know more about birds and godwits in special.
