Kina has many faces: It stretches north of Mapua onto an almost-island (peninsula) which nearly touches Motueka Harbour on its northern tongue. Some nice holiday homes lay there towards the sea and also face the inlet. After school we just had to walk a little bit and chose this undiscovered (by us) piece of beach. Kina also is the name of the sea urchin which can be found often in this bay (but not today).
