When we first drove the Takaka Hill Highway we realised it was a massive crossing with several sights and lookouts and Canaan Road which is said to be the one other entry to Able Tasman National Park. Allthough we knew there wasn’t enough time to do the walk Harwoods Hole until 1 pm (when Verena is to be picked up from kindy), we headed towards the Plains to take a little timeout there.
